Does Non Filtered come from a time when man is dominated by robot overlords? Did Non Filtered crash land his space/time machine on the moon a thousand years ago? Has this being from the future who arrived in our past been trying desperately to get back to his own time so he can once again join the intergalactic fleet and protect humanity? These are the questions for which the answers are unclear. What is known is that recently transmissions have been being broadcast to earth from the moon. Strange sounds, hypnotic beats, broken grooves. He is telling us something, but what? 

Okay that was silly. Enough third person, it's me. I have been the drummer for a variety of bands and have been playing shows consistently for around seven to ten years. Not that being a drummer is in any way unsatisfying, but I've always wanted to expand what I do musically. Many years ago I started creating little songs for myself and my friends using a clever step sequencing "game" called Music Generator for the Playstation 1. I had found my outlet. With my knowledge of rhythms and limited understanding of piano I could write original tunes that were all mine. This went on for years. 
The bands won out though and my attention was devoted solely to playing drums, again, not a bad thing. I did some touring, recorded some cds, signed some boobs... life was pretty great. But that old itch was coming back. That nagging voice telling me to break free from the structure of three and four piece bands and explore my horizons. It was then I was introduced to FL Studio and all the tricks I had learned about step sequencers came flooding back into my mind. I was off and running, by which I mean I was once again making little songs for myself and my friends, but I was really enjoying it.
A few months ago it occurred to me that I could be doing more with this music, that I could take it as seriously as I take the commitment to my bands and try to bring it to a larger community of people. So here I am, making the best music I can and looking for label representation. I hope to get my hands on some gear so I can begin performing my original tracks soon. There's nothing like actually playing for people and getting to know them in person.
