We are excited to kick off a new format with this beautiful first live set by the Armenian artist @innersha. She crafted an organic and deep but fast and groovy session. 
Our SoundSculptors series will introduce you to live sets of artists who we work with. As our label is very much focused on profound sound design we feel that it is high time to share such journeys with you as live sets are something very unique. With it we feature small interviews about the live sets with the artists, so that you get to know them and their concepts as well as techniques a bit better. More about Innersha ~
Innersha is an electronic music producer and live performer based in Yerevan, Armenia. 
With a background in visual arts, communicating emotions and stories through media has always been a crucial part of her life. Her passion for crafting sound palettes using analog and modular synths, led to the development of diverse moods and storylines, transmitted through dynamic live sets. 
Her sound revolves around IDM and deep techno grooves, filled with organic sounds, rhythmic noises, and trance-inducing hypnotic basslines. 
As an initiator in the local raving scene and a co-founder of the dk.tsk collective, her artistic development was significantly shaped by the communal music experience.

Rotterdam talent @nelly_dj for the newest contribution to the series, with a mix inspired by warm summer days in the city. Creativity is the tool Nelly uses to process, understand and cope with the world. She finds solace in forest walks as much as she does on darkened dance floors and losing herself in these moments allows her to reset, reflect and become re-inspired. 

With an intricate, developing journey from trip-hop, to deep techno, ambient, trance, dub and beyond, Nelly's world building approach has a certain pensive beauty to it.. perfectly fitting for the series.

Laima Adelaide - Opening set Tresor Berlin (new faces), 04.09.2024

Here is the recording of my opening set for new faces at Tresor Berlin.
In this format I only played my own productions and a few remixes. Also it was a challenge to create a storyline with a fixed set of tracks. 
I started to release this sound in 2020 and it has given me a lot of joy to work on music (and also some pain now and then), meet people from the scene and travel to places to perform.

Back in 2023 we were lucky enough to release an exceptional podcast from Timnah - our ears were hooked! We immediately felt the potential and knew that she would be the DJ to provide the perfect festival afternoon soundtrack to our beloved forest.

Fast forward to Sunday afternoon at Monument Festival 2024, and Timnah’s set completely surpassed our already high expectations. From the moment she started, it was clear this was going to be something special.

Starting slow and deep, setting the stage like the opening of an epic tale, Timnah’s set unfolded layer by layer, note by note like a cinematic sonic story told deep in the forest by a master storyteller, one that could have only been by Timnah herself.
