KAMIKAZE SPACE PROGRAMME is a true sonic rene­gade, a gen­uine music experimenter.
Some­where between a clas­sic Musique Concrète and mod­ern elec­tronic approach, KSP’s music is made up of myr­iad sam­ples and found sounds from real world sit­u­a­tions, it lends the stuff a very real tex­ture and aes­thetic that links it to the here and now, the every­day, in a very real way. The sound of an old truck, the hiss of a ket­tle or the clunk­ing of a door are all fair game for KSP, who then takes his strange sound sources and weaves them into infec­tious sonic tapes­tries and intri­cate rhythms.!

Peder Mannerfelt has served for the last decade as one of Sweden’s leading electronic artists. He’s collaborated under the pseudonym The Subliminal Kid with musicians such as Fever Ray, Blonde Redhead and Glasser and remixed the likes of Massive Attack, Lykke Li and Bat for Lashes. In recent years the prolific artist has released three studio albums as part of the experimental classical duo, Roll The Dice. 
In 2013 Mannerfelt unveiled a new solo direction under his given name, with EPs ‘Come Closer’ and ‘Stockholm Recorded’ via We Can Elude Control. These were followed in 2014 by the succinctly titled ‘I’ and ‘II’ as well as a split EP on Stockholm Ltd with label boss Pär Grindvik. In 2014 Mannerfelt unleashed his debut LP ‘Lines Describing Circles’, a ten track album that was met with approbation by the likes of Juno Plus and Fact Magazine. 
Alongside his burgeoning new artistic identity came a unique new Live PA, a machine-driven tour de force that he’s since performed at events worldwide, including Berlin’s Atonal and CTM festivals and Bunker in New York. 
2014 also witnessed the birth of his label, Peder Mannerfelt Produktion; a channel established by Mannerfelt as a vehicle for his revised production focus, but also as a platform for likeminded artists, such as the highly talented Klara Lewis. 
Peder Mannerfelt is veteran producer and a singular artist, one at the inaugural stage of a renewed and blossoming solo career.

The once industrial city of Norrköping in eastern Sweden may not be the techno mecca of the world but it's a hometown of two members of SHXCXCHCXSH, who considers a perfect place to focus on music. Found each other in Stockholm years back, the two started sharing love for the darker and more experimental realms of techno and soon followed the natural progression of working on music together. Combinedly they have a broad range of musical backgrounds and tastes from hip hop to rock-pop therefore bring diverse knowledge and experience to shape their unique sounds and ideas into deadly serious techno born out of the elements of noise, drone, glitch, broken beats, and pounding industrial and much more.

This release is one of the latest and most surprising insights into the Hamburg underground techno scene. If you have thought so far, there is no such thing, we are happy to teach you better. Lucinee, Lifka, and Stute are three rapidly emerging techno artists who are actively shaping the nights of Hamburg’s subcultural techno clubs. Their sound as DJs is uncompromising and authentic. And they already have been crossing borders bringing it to other cities from Berlin to Copenhagen. Now, their first collaborate release carries this attitude onto one intriguing record.
With her two solo tracks “Neptune” and “Black Moon”, Lucinee presents herself with a fresh interpretation of some good old acid techno styles. The origins go way back, but her execution brings some new light into the sound and makes it perfect for an early sunrise just after a rough club night. Together with Lifka, she shows her variability in “Mechanical Skin”. With this composition, they have created a hypnotic merge of techno beats and trance elements. Those three tracks are complemented by a forth piece by their fellow Hamburg artist Stute, which is called “Low Noise”. What may sound subtle indeed surprises as an energetic techno hymn that – without being compliant with mainstream – has the potential to fill up the halls of vibrant hot spots and enthuse a broad crowd from techno newbies up to old school lovers.

Protagonist status in one city is high praise indeed; holding key stakes in several is something else entirely. Something that Spanish born and Scottish bred Dave Tarrida can boldly claim.

Tarrida’s timeline begins in 1991 in Edinburgh as founder and resident of the now legendary Sativa club. Here’s where Dave met Neil Landstrumm, Tobias Schmidt and Cristian Vogel, becoming a foursome that would continue to share gigs—the others live, Dave as DJ—and labels—like Tresor, Scandinavia, Mosquito and Sativae—for the first half of their respective careers. In 1994 the club bore Sativae Recordings, which Dave manned together with Steve Glencross, spawning the sibling Drought Records imprint two years later. Around the same time Dave took to the studio, though it would be another few more years before any records would materialise.

1999 was a turning point that saw Dave return to his native Barcelona, where he would spend the following eleven years honing his production craft and exceptional deck-side manner with local residences at Moog (which he still frequents today) and Nitza, as well as Stardust in Madrid. It was the same year that Tresor released his first solo record, ‘Postmortem Pop EP’, having debuted the year prior in collaboration with Tobias Schmidt on ‘The Test EP’. He produced two albums during this period: ‘Paranoid’ in 2001 for Tresor, and ‘Life’s a Glitch’ three years later—Sativae’s final record.

In 2010 Dave relocated again, this time to Vienna where he is currently based. After two decades of happily playing the role of DJ and promoter, 2013 sees Dave shift focus back on his own productions with the unveiling of his brand new label AUTOFAKE and pending releases for Housemeister’s soon-to-be re-launched All You Can Beat stable, and Funk D'Void’s Outpost Records. Saying that, he hasn’t quite hung up the headphones just yet. As the saying goes: you can take the DJ out of the club, but you can’t take the club out of the DJ—expect to see the name Dave Tarrida on many a flyer to come.
