Cxemcast 095 - Udda

A new set from the ‘Before The Curfew’ series is up on SoundCloud. This set was played by Kadiristy on the 23rd of July at Backyard. 

Kadiristy is a Kyiv-based dj and producer, Gasolin Radio resident and one of the founders of the Regular Disco formation and event series focusing on uplifting music in disco, italo and house directions.

The series is updated on a weekly basis with recordings of sets that have been played in our space since the beginning of the russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Tune in and don't forget to support the Ukrainian army, volunteer organizations and funds, including the ∄ community fund which continues to support volunteer initiatives from representatives of our community.

I'm @bellis_annua1, a DJ and selector originally from Zaporizhzhia, now firmly rooted in Kyiv. I'm also an сo-organizer of the @hybrid-moment party series. This mix diverges slightly from my usual selections. While it still reflects my fervent love for Downtempo and somber musical tones, it introduces broken rhythms of slowed-down Electro and Breaks. Nevertheless, this music arguably captures my current inner state the most accurately. Specifically, it encapsulates that peculiar blend of emotions that surface when your entire worldview is upended. There's an undercurrent of fatigue, a determination not to surrender, a sense of pride for one's current position, and a fear of what lies ahead. It embodies both weariness and perpetual motion. The tempo may be unhurried, yet it maintains a certain rhythmic quality that injects the sound with a unique dynamism. I invite you to glimpse into my inner world through this musical journey, and I hope it resonates with you.

Первый выпуск на радио “Шесть волн” открывает Flüchtlink - проект Антона Воробьева (Tonyo), посвященный лайв-выступлениям и саунд продакшену.
Антон, известный ранее как артист в составе промо-команды TRD, имеет большой послужной список выступлений  на таких площадках Москвы как: Mutabor, Blanc, Поле, Propaganda; эфиры на радио Серебряный дождь, Test fm, Most, Noh radio. А теперь еще и сольный лайв-перформанс на фестивале Azat в Армении.

Антон уже больше года живет на две страны - между Турцией и Грузией. Переезд стал для него возможностью немного отойти от роли диджея и реализоваться как независимый продюсер и музыкант. В состав специального микса для “Шесть волн” вошли некоторые композиции, которые Антон впервые демонстрирует слушателю.  Сам он определяет характер своего звучания как “баланс между вязким, триповым 4х4 грувом и бас музыкой»

Среди дальнейших планов - плотная работа на релизами и доработка лайва, по возвращении на родину Антон мечтает выступить с ним в тех местах, где когда-то играл как dj. 

The first “Six Waves” radio release stars Flüchtlink - live-project by Anton Vorobyov (Tonyo)
Anton, well-known as an artist of the TRD promo team, has a long-list of performances and DJ-sets at the dopest Moscow venues. He performed not only at parties in Mutabor, Blanc, Pole, Propaganda and on radio broadcasts like Silver Rain, Megapolis fm, Most, Test fm, Noh radio, but also he debuted with a solo live performance in the mountains at the Azat festival in Armenia.

Anton has been commuting between two countries for more than a year - Turkey and Georgia. Relocation became an opportunity to step away from the DJ career and to devote himself to sound-production. The special mix for “Six Waves” includes some unreleased tracks. The artist defines his personal sound as “a balance between broken/bass and viscous 4x4 groove".

As for the future plans - many releases are underway. Once back home Anton dreams of performing with his live-project Flüchtlink at the venues where he used to play as a dj.

The debut mix of Illya (@kepsko), a resident of kepsko project, is the result of a study of electronic dance music of the first decade of the 21st century. Non-standard, strange, sometimes sick, but keeping in tune motives are intended mainly for discerning listeners. However, with his DJ and promotional activities in Lviv, Illya tries to promote the current minimal, tech and electro house sound for a wider audience). On the way to improving his own style, author was always inspired by the absurdity of the surrounding world and the activities of pre-war Kyiv DJs.

Дебютний мікс Іллі wp_ls, резидента kepsko project, є результатом дослідження танцювальної електронної музики першого десятиліття 21 ст. Нестандартні, дивні, місцями хворі, але тримаючі в тонусі мотиви призначені переважно для вибагливих слухачів. Проте своєю DJ й промоутерською діяльністю в м. Львів, Ілля намагається просувати актуальний minimal, tech and electro house саунд для більш ширшої аудиторії).
