Ambient ‘Why Not Nothing’ recontextualises the themes of '17500mph' but takes the universal rather than the human viewpoint. Clatters and flutters of percussion flit around gradually developing chordal textures before breaking into the inclusion of metronomic but broken staccato arpeggios – order emerging from chaos and the unlikelihood of meaning defying inertia.
