I'm super excited to share my first dawless liveset with you! It's finally here! after more or less 2 years thinking about it. It took quite some time to find a setup that matched my workflow and it was a long back and forth, exchanging and rearranging all my gear. But now i feel really comfortable and inspired with my Elektron setup! Let's see where else it takes me...

each beat a ripple across an ocean of shadowed light.
The air thickens with questions unanswered,
with silences that roar louder than existence itself.
This is another planet,
where gravity pulls at the soul,
where dub speaks in tongues of ancient machines,
and techno whispers secrets of the void.
You are both a traveller and a witness,
adrift in frequencies that feel like home,
yet stretch beyond comprehension.
Each note fades only to return as memory,
as longing, as something too vast to hold.

The universe breathes here.

You are its echo.

Bio/
Born in Soweto, going by the name Sash Omnyama, a huge lover and consumer of house, through listening to a lot of mixtapes, I began having my specific preference of sound which then led me to start making my mixes in 2021 and share my own story through music. On my podcast mixtapes, I host two distinct sessions: "Soulful House Sunday Sessions," which feature deep soulful house, and "Late Night Drive Sessions", where I display my dub techno side, which speaks to my soul.

Another Planet

As we enjoy the summer season, we are delighted to welcome Paragon, the talented curator of the 315th Deep Breakfast mix.

Paragon means a person is regarded as a perfect example of a particular quality. Always open to exploring different sounds, as of lately, Paragon has been discovering more relaxing or different realms of electronic music or IDM. Nowadays you can find in his selections mostly from ambient, broken beats of techno to different types of drum n bass. He has been the curator of the podcast series Parallel Perception, where you can also experience his vision and taste in electronic music.

"This set is part of my Sunday morning routine. Me and a cup of coffee and records that I put in for the quiet mornings. I picked some of my favorite records that I keep coming back on a regular basis. It's not super polished but it's honest something that helps me to wake up and have a good day. Hope it keeps you good company, wherever and whenever you listen to it."
