Khidja is not a DJ group, but rather a duo of electronic music producers from Romania, consisting of Andrei Rusu and Florentin Tudor. Khidja has released music on a number of respected electronic music labels, including DFA Records, Malka Tuti, and Hivern Discs. They have also remixed tracks for artists such as Red Axes, Billy Cobham, Man Jumping or Plus Instruments.

In addition to their work as producers, Khidja are also highly regarded as DJs, known for their eclectic and unpredictable sets that blend together a wide range of musical genres and styles. They have played at clubs and festivals across Europe and beyond, including Panorama Bar in Berlin, Nuits Sonores in Lyon, and Dekmantel in Amsterdam.

Once again, we’ve gathered a selection of artists from across the globe, weaving together their distinct styles into a sonic tapestry that defies easy categorisation.

Musically, Orbea is genre-fluid: from atmospheric ambient, classical, and textured noise to fractured breaks, raw electro and wave. This release carries a pulse between inertia and momentum, from the stillness of introspection to the kinetic energy that propels us outward. It’s an ode to contrast, a meditation on tension and release, and above all, a celebration of that which cannot be explained.
