Five Parts of the Soul is inspired by the ancient egyptian concept of
the Soul, which says that a human soul was made up of five parts :
Heart, Shadow, Name, Soul and Spark.

5POTS is a five-part journey into the past, passing through desolate canyons
and scorching deserts, obscure rain forests and crowded thrift markets.

All of the songs have different styles and takes on what Soul music could be.

The Southern Hemisphere is on some other trajectory altogether. S.F.T has been on our radars for a while now, ever since stumbling upon his track 'Find My Way' on his soundcloud. His 'Interpretations' release on Renaissance Music that followed after cemented our belief that S.F.T, like our own Samuel Truth simply belongs to a breed of musicians that possess a natural talent which can't be taught.
For this particular free download, we have chosen to go with the track 'Future', as we felt it encapsulates the ethos of Darker Than Wax perfectly ; sparse yet full, mellow yet intense and most importantly, raw.
