This is the main title theme from “While They Were Sleeping”  the musical beginning of a story I wrote about grief, memory, and the soft defiance of surviving in silence.

Every chapter of the book takes place inside a surreal, symbolic house where each room holds a different stage of grief. But this track is the doorway. The first candle. The hush before memory begins to speak.

The melody is gentle, but it carries everything: sorrow, wonder, stillness, and the quiet hope that something sacred still lives inside you, even after everything else is gone.

“WTWS – Main Title Theme” is not just an introduction. It’s a homecoming. For anyone who’s ever whispered, “I’m still here,” when no one else was listening.

There are plenty of versions covering this song on YouTube so i tried to approach it with a different dark vibe, using state of the art VST instruments to create a realistic aggressive orchestra and percussion ensemble in addition to working with live musicians to give the track an intimate and unique feel.
