A song about somebody back in the day who never did a days graft and lived off the bank of mom and dad. Always plenty of money to indulge his party habits and a few more to say the least.
Nearly cost him his life but fortunately it didn’t and eventually learned a valuable lesson. He has his own family now and just hopes they are more sensible than himself in the teenage years.

This is the first track I've done with Gaz where I've written the lyrics!  They were inspired following a trip I made a while back to the Somme WW1 battlefields in France.  I've been a few times and am always immensely moved.

Anyway I had a loose idea for a vocal melody too that Gaz took up a level and then some with his vocal recording to bring this to fruition.

We recorded it about 18 months ago but thought we'd release now to coincide with the impending remembrance / poppy day commemorations.

Big Man   -   The New Vigos

A song recorded in 2023 inspired by a documentary based on the child care system in Great Britain.
So as we all get ready to enjoy Christmas with our family and friends spare a thought for this.
There’re was a little boy who shared a memory that all he as left of his life with his real mother was a few toy soldiers and a snow globe.
They sat on a shelf for him to think & remember that for whatever reason his mother gave him up.
He was one of the lucky children who managed to get adopted and find a new loving family to take care of him.
Others not so and stay In children’s homes until they were 18.
And here is the problem once they became 18 they became no longer a problem for the system.
With little or no help they are expected to leave & fend for themselves without the love or security like a normal young person would expect from his family.
The system is so flawed & totally under funded hence kick the can down the street & watch it land at another’s feet.
Not the government’s problem anymore.
The adoption system is such a long drawn out process that it puts future potential step parents off.
So many children just stay in the system until they are 18 and then are classed as adults.
They may be adults but not ready for the world alone, outside the door.

We could write a fluffy Christmas song with all the cliches but we choose not to.
Hope you enjoy and pause for thought.

A song about the Fentanyl Crisis in the USA and the personal tragedy affecting the huge numbers of people and their families affected by the impacts.

A very recent recorded song that we felt we wanted to release as it tells the sad story of two close friends.
One friend was always referred to as the other ones Wingman.
The wingman is a man who helps, protects, or guides a friend and always has his back in any circumstances.
The story is set in the early 90s when the British underground warehouse party scene was rising.
These two friends would travel to them after having tip offs of its location as it was always kept low key.
They attended many of these raves that would carry through into the next day sunrise, if they wasn’t busted by the law.
Until a fatal pill cost the wingman his life.
His friend never got over it as they were close as a coat of paint.
