This is a study of a method of generating chords from a single sine wave. Each note of a random melody gets divided into 8 new tones, comprising the first 8 undertones of that note. Plus a bunch of other modulation and stuff to make it sound good (at least to my ears). This is a recording of one "performance" of the patch, and is not edited or post-processed in any way. Made in VCVRack; not my first patch, but my first decent patch starting from scratch.

One of the strangest things I ever made with a guitar, this is a spacey ambient / soundtrack piece done a couple of years ago. Prior to the start of this recording, the delay was made to sound like a random percussion type sound. I added a high pitched string sound done with Absynth, plus a little Pro-53 sweeping synth sound. With a long delay and reverb, you can make a guitar sound very much unlike a guitar. #SoundCloud ☁️
