That was a tough mix to get right.  Nailed it!

such a steller mix my man.. wow.. all the feels.

This mix is close to my heart. It was emotional to put together, but a therapeutic process and a unique challenge as I was mixing to tell a story lyrically, as opposed to thinking of the flow based on key, energy, and BPM. Odd to make a mix in which nearly every song has vocals. Many songs are placed in juxtaposition to one another to reflect the roller coaster of emotion (grief, denial, loneliness, anger, love, acceptance) in closing one chapter and starting another. Lots of Lane 8 and Tinlicker as those producers have meant the most to me over the past few years.
