Release Info:
The 26th release on Ivan Nikusev's OLD SQL Recordings sees Canadian producer DJ Noor teaming up with Turkey based producer Stefan Addo for their first ever collaboration together. Their first studio offering is entiteld 'Euphoria' and it comes with a great selection of remixes from: Aaron Static, Bobby Deep and Blend.
The 'Euphoria' original kicks the release off with an outstanding percussive groove. Warm pads, metallic keys and poignant stabs ease their way into the mix as the composition builds quickly. Soon an epic set of chords and sustained tension fill the air as the track reaches the drop. Here some earthy electronics and highly emotional melodies begin to build the break back up. As the melodies open up and the layers get added back in the piece reaches a nice, understated crescendo as the highly modern groove comes back in for a wicked finish to the track. The first remix is supplied by one of the most under rated progressive house / trance producers over the course of the last few years. Aussie Aaron Static first came to our attention with a string of highly emotional productions on Jetlag Digital and Indigo Records in 2010. He went on to appear on other top melodic imprints like Spring Tube and Mistique in 2011 and his productions whether they be progressive, trance or breaks are some of the most creative out there and here he has delivered something exceptional once again.  Aaron's 'Euphoria' interpretation offers a completely different approach than the original as it focuses much more on a thick, spacious and rumbling groove that's accented with wonderful melancholic elements and a panoramic cinematic quality which really comes to life during the drop. The break sees Aaron again at his best with outstanding musicality and a killer break beat section that rocks big time. Greek producer and scene veteran Bobby Deep is next and in making his OLD SQL debut here he's turned in a fabulous deep and impactful remix. Bobby's crafted a wicked late night groove with an undeniably cool vibe and brooding atmosphere that should serve those educated dance floors quite nicely. Closing the package out is Thomas Jisa aka Blend. Thomas hails from Austria and is making his debut on Ivan Nikusev's imprint here. At only 16 years old Thomas has already achieved remarkable success with releases on Neuroscience Deep and Macarize. On his 'Euphoria' interpretation Thomas has brought the track to today's new school progressive dance floor perfectly with its tight, crunchy production and dynamic, energetic grooves. The melodic components really open the track up to a broad range of main room floors with its big builds and an overall euphoric vibe that can't miss!

The 358th release on Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic's Mistique Music sees Part 3 of DJ Noor & Stefan Addo's 'Distances' getting its release. The track was originally released in September of 2012 with Part 2 seeing it's release 3 months later. Now for Part 3 of 'Distances' we have new remixes from Fernando Ferreyra, Atrium Sun and DJ Ceratti & Juan Pablo Graziano. 

The first remix is supplied by long time Mistique artist Fernando Ferreyra. The Argentinean producer closed out 2012 incredibly strong with releases on Lowbit and OLD SQL. This will be Fernando's 11th appearance on Mistique and he's delivered a top notch remix here. Fernando's 'Distances' interpretation begins with a drummy framework that really packs some dance floor punch. Warm bass tones along with celestial melodies fill the air and bring a heavenly vibe which flows smoothly into the main breakdown. Here some complementary vocal pads, bell like melodies and dynamic atmospheric accents provide a gorgeous musical interlude. The rolling groove reappears with a sense of restraint as not to ruin the gorgeous moment. The track closes with more newly formed melodies teasing the emotions and senses for a great finish.

The second remix comes from Atrium Sun who is making his 10th appearance on Mistique. The Russian producer provides a tough break beat interpretation that's going to be very powerful on the dance floor. Tough beats combined with wicked chord changes and electric sounding melodic lines keep the energy sky high as the track reaches the main break. Here the melodies get expanded upon and showcased wonderful as the beats begin to fade back in. The broken beats hit home hard and the surging walls of sub bass push the track to a big finish. Great breaks rework form Atrium Sun.
