To celebrate the rebranding I have undergone, here's a bootleg I did of Lovesick by Mura Masa. Let me know if you're feeling it!

Local star Subverse comes through with a heavy ragga roller to start off your week right. Using the ragga vocal well on the buildup, Subverse aptly applies the "Badman" throughout the track in snippets, nicely tying together this piece of production and hammering home the vibe he's going for. It's the whip on the drop that stands out here as something truly unique, and it keeps switching up every 16 before throwing you into the wobble on the remaining bars. It's worth mentioning the slightly more percussive drums used in this track than other bits we've released. A light high hat and an unobtrusive kick drum leaves room for the creative bass design and vocals to shine throughout, and Subverse knows just when to cut the drums. They might not be the most pronounced element of the track, but that doesn't mean they're not well thought out. Top stuff.
