Shèna Winchester is perhaps best known as featured vocalist on such massive hits as Michael Gray's 'The Weekend' and Alex Gaudino's 'Watch out' but she is also one half of an extremely prolific and successful writing and production business with husband James called No Prisoners Productions.

Initially set up to write toplines for Shena's club releases, the duo have racked up over 150 commercial releases as writers/co-writers with artists such as Alex Gaudino, Eric Morillo, Eddie Thoneick, Warren Clarke, Soul Avengerz, Freemasons, Knee Deep, Olav Basoski, Rudenko, Bartosz Brenes on just about every major dance label including Positiva, Defected, MOS, Hed Kandi, Time/Oxyd, Strictly Rhythm, Spinnin' and Subliminal.

However their achievements do not stop there. Their latest and perhaps biggest success so far is to have co-written ‘One in a million‘ the Radio 1 playlist smash for Drumsound and Bassline Smith featuring Fleur which reached number 53 in the UK charts.. They also have further upcoming co-writes with Drumsound and Bassline Smith plus the next single for upcoming drum and bass producers The Prototypes who are already Radio 1 favourites. They also co-manage, produce and write for young r&b sensation Blaise whose debut singles ‘Attitude‘ and ‘Thunderstorm‘ were supported by Kiss, Capital, Radio 1, R1Xtra, MTV Base and many others. ‘Thunderstorm‘ also achieved a major synch deal with EA Games‘ Sims 3. 

They have also co-written and co-produced tracks for Lemar, Luciana (of Bodyrox fame), Daniel Pearce and Katie Waissel (X-factor finalists), UK garage diva and R1Xtra favourite Kayla L‘ayton,  and in 2012 achieved their first movie synch deal by placing a song in the Daniel Craig movie ‘Girl with the dragon tattoo.‘ They have also had several songs released by Far East artists including Hong Kong‘s Joey Yung and huge Japanese boy band W-Inds, with releases imminent for two other multi-platinum acts. James also had a recent UK chart number 37 as co-producer and co-writer of  MAD’s ‘Toy boy’.

Not content with this, they have also created their own label, No Prisoners Records, which has now released three solo Shèna albums, One man woman, 2079 and My brave face. These albums have produced two Radio 2 playlist singles, 'Can't stop the rain' and 'Nasty little rumour' which have also had great success internationally in particular Russia where Shèna is something of a star. Other UK supporters include The Lorraine show, The Times, The Guardian, The Telegraph, Observer Music monthly, The Daily Mirror and OK magazine, and Heat magazine described Shèna as the Uk's favourite dance diva.

James has also remixed for many labels and artists including the new single from current radio 2 smash Caro Emerald.
