BIO - Julian Koerndl

 Julian Koerndl's musical career began at the age of six as part of a classical piano education. At the age of 12, musical education in the field of drumming and percussion followed. Between the age of 12 and 18 Koerndl played in several music orchestras as a drummer and percussionist. In 2018 he started producing his own electronic music. In 2019, the internationally respected UK based label Global Underground signed Koerndls' track Timebender. In 2021 Koerndl worked in cooperation with the Klanglicht Festival of light and sound together with the light artist Mischa Kuball on an installation as a sound designer. In 2022 Koerndl was signed by the London label Somatic. Well-known names such as Lauren Mia, Erly Tephsi and Wurtz have already played Koerndl's tracks around the world. His tracks have also been played on BBC Radio 1. 

The music of Julian Koerndl is characterizedby his cinematic, melancholic and emotional sound. Because he never let himself be influenced by other artists and always remained true to his own style, one can always assign each of his compositions to Koerndl.

Displaying his production prowess with a two-track offering, Spanish producer Ian Ludvig conjures an emotive soundscape with ‘In My Mind’. In 'Try To Escape’, Ludvig demonstrates his ability to fuse stunning vocals with powerful production to create impactful cuts.
Moving into a heavier dimension, Ukrainian producer Anastasiia demands attention with her progressive trance-influenced peak time number, ‘Spiral’.
Drawing the EP to a close with ‘Nerve’, Austrian producer LEO LEO combines reverberating bass with soaring synths to strike an emotive chord, resulting in a fitting closing track for live sets around the world.

With a long list of festival appearances on the horizon, including Panorama Festival NYC, both weekends of Tomorrowland, Purified Love Mobile at Street Parade Zürich and her debut UK festival performance at SW4, Nora En Pure continues to impress with every move she makes.
