“New Shape” is a song that went through many very different iterations before we landed on the current track. We wrote it over two years as we moved together three times, and we just kept coming back to it and reworking it until this final shape took form. 

Because we were moving so much, reinventing ourselves musically and personally, we had this sense of things unravelling around us. This song is about allowing things to stay unraveled and finding beauty in the not-coming-together. It’s about accepting our contradictions and finding space to fall apart.
