For our fourteenth installement we've invited Noah Lyas, an artist passionate about making refined ceramics and composing deep atmospheric rhythms.

Malii grew up in a house where music was always on because of two passionate parents who shared a large record collection with their children. With a father as a musician, early contact with different instruments was made as well as performing arts.

Later in life, around the age of twenty, after many dances in night clubs with friends, Malii started to make his own music focussing on soft percussive rhythms and lush atmospheres, finding inspiration in different kinds of music and sometimes movies.

The first two releases, “Before the Horizon” and “Obsidian”, were the starting point of Noah Lyas, his pseudonym, and the beginning of his record label called “Profundo Collective”.

Bio:

Salva Coromina  aka ABSIS. 
His involvement in the Barcelona scene began in the late 90s under the alias MouseDown/MouseUp, having years of experience as Dj resident in club such as Razzmatazz (The loft) and festivals like Sonar.
He has always been exploring the deeper side of electronic music, moving from ambient to techno. ABSIS currently runs his residency at Laut club in Barcelona with the Midline parties... he is also a resident at the MOSTRA festival in Barcelona and his productions are published on labels such as hivern discs, Affin and Oslated among others.

Today sees the arrival of an influential artist on the Ukrainian scene, Svarog, who has been active on the hypnotic techno scene for a decade. The artist has cut his teeth on renowned labels such as Semantica, Circular limited, Dynamic Reflection, Affin, Nachtstrom Schallplatten... and has performed in clubs and festivals all over Europe. His signature sound is mental, hypnotic, powerful and made for dancefloors. Here he offers us almost an hour of half tempo, tribal, drum&bass and deep techno mixes, with transitions of exemplary fluidity. Bon voyage and welcome to spring!

Steve Duncan is a Berlin-based DJ and co-curator of the Patterns of Perception platform. In his sets, he offers an atmospheric, driving sound that focuses on narrative, groove and hypnotic rhythm without being fixed to any specific genre.

Originally from Australia, Steve's background in classical music is what first attracted him to the complexity and depth of electronic music. As a classically trained guitarist, he has spent many years fine-tuning his ear for music, accumulating a wide range of influences in the process. 

Together with a close-knit group of friends and collaborators, Steve’s work on Patterns of Perception allows him to explore techno’s sensory depths by inviting forward-thinking artists such as Peter Van Hoesen, Marco Shuttle, Volte-Face, Jamie McCue and natural/electronic.system. to feature at their parties or contribute to their mix series.

2017 looks to be a crucial year for Steve and the Patterns of Perception crew, with their one year celebration taking place at About Blank on May 21, followed by parties at Griessmuehle and their home-base of OHM, as well as their first international appearance in Copenhagen.

Antonio Vázquez is a DJ and music producer from Seville (Spain) based in Berlin since 2011. 
He started producing in 1998. When he moved to Madrid two years later, he began to play. There he had different chances to play in different bars and events, until he got the opportunity to play at
Cassette Club on the inauguration party followed by several times afterwards. 
His style was always focused on environmental and organic sounds, shifting sometimes on more minimalistic and electro
tones. 
The productions were always different styles because of his eclectic music taste and because he made different works for advertisements and websites.
It was though when he arrived to Berlin and after meeting really inspiring friends that he developed his style into deep techno. 
After his podcast for T_Mood, he experienced a really fast and
increasing success playing at ://about blank multiple times in different events, in Manchester at Komme, Pseucho Club in Leipzig and specially he had the biggest chance to play three times at Berghain. 
He has also performed in many different places around Europe and Berlin, and his productions started to be released on Shaded Explorations, Hypnus Records and Semantica.
Antonio is currently a member of the Hypnus Records family and he is preparing more productions and EP's.

Warm, eclectic, not afraid of marathon sets, producer/Dj Nems-B also leads the Phonons Serie (events & podcasts). Established in South FR, he punctuates his work with groovy, dub influences. His skills are rooted in a long Djing experience, showing ease swimming into different waters & adapting to different contexts. Nems-B just toured Asia, South Korea & Japan shortly after playing both at The Caussemique Festival as well as at the Parallel Festival 2nd Edition.
