Today we’re sharing the first mix from our new mini "Crescent Recordings" series.

This one comes from @caroune-dem and was recorded at our event on 21 September, capturing a live set from the last Crescent London gathering - a celebration of the final day of summer.

The journey unfolds as an ambient exploration, woven with moments of dnb and experimental textures. Opening the event in the early afternoon created the space to slow down, lean into the atmosphere, and fully express the sound as it evolved in real time.

A pillar of China’s underground scene, Lina K has spent more than a decade forging her own path, both behind the decks and as a curator of the scene. Through Techno Train, she has opened new doors and broken old rules. Her project, Techno Is A Woman, has challenged barriers, amplifying the voices of women and marginalized communities in an industry still dominated by men.

Her sound is fierce and fearless—woven from dark atmospheres, groovy bass-lines, and cosmic soundscapes layered with hypnotic FM tones. Often blending breakbeat elements into her music, she creates a fluid tension between darkness and groove. Lina’s productions and DJ sets are more than performances; they are a form of self-expression, reflecting her life experiences, emotions, and the energy that shapes her creative world.

 This year, her work found its place on labels such as Rave The Planet, MODE, Synthlab, Art Bei Ton, Ambient Sleepers, Genom Sequence, and Paralelo — appearing as part of VA compilations, remixes, and full EPs.

Welcome to our podcast, this time we bring you an amazing Scottish Artist, DJ/ Producer Fernie
( @ferniemusic ) Owner of @spacetextures 

Fernie, originally from Glasgow, Scotland, has been a figure in the local Scottish electronic music scene since the early 2000s. With a deep-rooted involvement in organizing and performing at events, he has continually contributed to its growth and evolution.

In recent years, Fernie has further honed his sound design through both music production and live DJ sets, leading to performances at events across Europe and beyond.  His signature sound has strong links to emotional pads and thought provoking energies.  

He also collaborates with local deep techno mainstays Repart and Deepbass to promote the Orbits event series, and serves as a podcast curator for the respected Norwegian techno platform Monument.

His discography spans a variety of well-regarded labels, including KVLTO, BAHN·, Informa, and Indefinite Pitch, with more work on the horizon as he continues to push his sonic boundaries.

Podcast Series 014 - Fernie

Ultra Instincts (formerly Melania . and Harsh Mentor) is a Berlin-based sound artist whose work moves through the subtle thresholds between sound, attention, and perception. Since relocating to Berlin in 2012, her practice has been shaped by a sustained interest in emotional and energetic states, intuition, and the act of listening as an active, perceptive process. Rather than aligning with fixed genres, she allows internal states to guide the music, shaping sound as a form of narrative awareness.

This mix was recorded on the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year, approached not symbolically but experientially — as a moment of suspension, reduced tempo, and inward adjustment. The mix moves through overlapping timelines: recollection, anticipation, and the unease that often accompanies change. Sounds appear and recede without urgency, allowing memory and uncertainty to coexist without resolution.

Subtle references to winter environments are woven into the soundscape, gently altering the sense of time and sharpening perception. The intention is to support a mode of listening that is receptive rather than directed — offering sound as a space for recalibration, where attention can settle into a simple, awake presence.

Ivano Tetelepta bio

Founder of KERING4, member of Dilated Pupils and co-founder of SIENA and ESHU records, Ivano Tetelepta is a busy, but laidback and humble G in this era. As being a former member of breakdance crews Ill Skill Squad, Come Correct and Rebelz On The Run (a division of Always Doing Hardcore Damage), Tetelepta used his bboy background to create his own style. This resulted in over 40+ releases on his name on high quality labels such as Fear of Flying, Tenderpark, Rue de Plaisance, Fasten Musique and many, many more.

Festivals and clubs were aware of his music production and resulted in performances at clubs such as Doornroosje (Nijmegen), Arma 17 (Moscow), Concrete & Rex Club (Paris), AgeHa (Tokyo), Club Der Visionaere (Berlin) and performances at festivals such as 88han N&D festival, (Herfst) Drift Festival, Mysteryland and Henk Festival.

While listening to his music production, you can feel his emotion, influence and background. For now, he developed an interesting discography and gig CV, and will continue his journey. Be aware, stay up!
