Revelation of Sound is pleased to present Lopar. He has been playing for more than 4 years, he began his career as a professional dj in Decibel Academy (Intelligent Division) in Medellin, Colombia. His sound goes from the deepest to the most hypnotic and mental. Sailing through sub-genres like ambient, neo tribal and down tempo. Lopar seeks to immerse the listener in a vortex which makes him travel around Space & Time.
His identifiable taste and great selection had given him the pleasure to perform along side re known international artists like Anthony Linell, Polygonia, Etapp Kyle and Alfredo Mazzilli.

All this trajectory gave him the opportunity to perform in clubs like Club 1984 in Medellin, Colombia and also at Seis Bar, Loop Club and Marte Electronic Room in Manizales, Colombia.

Lately he has contributed with outstanding podcasts for great platforms like Ruina, Outer Dimension, Fur: ther Sessions, Indefinited Pitch, a streaming for the great MONUMENT team and many more!

Hei alle sammen, and a warm welcome back to the Blendet Series

After being on an adventures weekend at Soria Festival, in a Valley close to Kristiansand in the south of Norway. We are back in Oslo and continuing our journey whitin the Blendet Series. 

In Episode 006 we celebrate an Album from an Icelandic Producer who is very known for his unique rhythmic and deep dub techno sounds. His Name is Aðalsteinn Guðmundsson alias Yagya.  

At the description of his Album Sleepygirls it says "Right from the rolling bliss of the opener, you're suspended in a womb, like a pillow of sound that is soft, warm and serenely beautiful." His productions could not be better described. 

Aðalsteinn creativity gives us soothing and escapist soundtracks, what trances the listener in utterly mindful experiences. In his productions can be jazzy instrumentals from a saxophone and guitar to counter the repetitiveness of the rhythms and moods. Or soft Japanese vocals, like in Sleepygirls to guide the mind in an dream state where his Drone like Atmospheres let you go deeper and deeper. 

In Stormur, Yagya continue to evolve his sound into the pure techno realm. His unique palette still identifiable, but the focus now on the swirling hypnotism, the delicate tonal progressions, whispering vocals, and the underlying current that transports you, from the whiteness of Island floor to the soaring treetops, the dense whirlpools of mist, and the breathtaking landscapes are now seen from above.

Stormur means translated, "Storm". It focuses on subtle flow and progression between tracks akin to a full DJ set, transporting you from one chapter to the next. The hole Album is produced in 127 BPM and each track taking its cue from the previous. The tonal shifts are only minimal, what creates for the listener a trance-like state. Fallen into his movements best absorbent in one hole listening. Guest vocalist Hatis Noir providing an angelic voice amongst the shifting patterns, swirling synthesizers and driving grooves.

Before we start, we would like to say hello to the dub community in Iceland and give our deepest thanks to Aðalsteinn Guðmundsson for all the sensual moments he lets us enjoy through his music.

About Luigi:
Born and educated in Rome, the young Italian producer Luigi Tozzi has so far been released on the established label Dynamic Reflection as well as setting a regular cooperation with the very promising and mysterious techno label Hypnus Records from Sweden, where he found a platform that inspired him to develop his style. Melting the tribal and hypnotic elements of techno with the atmospheric and emotional side of ambient music he is making his own path in the world of electronics. Recently this has gotten him in contact with Dino Sabatini which led to the opportunity to join Outis Music.

Having many others big projects in the pipeline to be released in the next months, BLNDR is surely someone to watch. BLNDR’s hard work has been recognised and rewarded with many gigs in France and abroad such as KHIDI in Tbilissi, Contact in Tokyo, Vurt in Seoul, Bloc. in London, Concrete and Rex Club in Paris, Tresor and About Blank in Berlin. Expect much more in the months and years to come for this talented artist!

Save Your Atoll (Sardinia, Italy)

Save Your Atoll is a project born in 2019 founded by Italian artist Antonello Meloni.
His music reflects Techno and Deep Techno characterized by
hypnotic elements and soundscapes.
His path started in 2012 with Spacedrome, a roman collective
he created with some friends focused on exploring Music lsuch as Dubstep, Garage and deep Electronica.
He has performed in many Italian clubs and several international festivals such as Freqs Of Nature (DE) or Outlook Festival (CRO) as well as some important Berlin clubs such as Hoppettosse, Acud Macht Neu, Mensch Meyer among others.
He published several Ep´s with Spacedrome on labels such as Elastica Records, Deep Electronics, Whoyostro, Spclnch, Abyssal Audio among others.
In late 2020 he is planning to release the debut album of this new
project.
