‘Hold Me’ is a song about the conversations that never happened even though they desperately needed to. It captures the feeling of incomprehension that is a result of something obviously being wrong but there is no way of saying it out loud. The song is about being torn between the decision of taking action. Causing the feeling of being afraid to what the outcome might be and pretending that everything is fine but ending up unhappy.
