That wooden garden structure? 
That can go as well
I need to shed some weight,
and lose my temper,
I don’t need you to tell me
I should change my attitude,
declutter my messy life
Sort out those murky kitchen cupboards,
call a pro, do some DIY

	Screwed up so far? Feel a failure? 
	Join us at The Dump
	Get the tow bar, fill a trailer:

Pull up the car, sling it as far,
as it all deserves, to be flung
Rub your palms, push down your arms,
take a new breath,
stretch those lungs
It’s so liberating
down here at the dump

The gulls are circling, but a dove is hovering,
overhead at The Dump
fads and lusts have deserted me
down here at The Dump
I saw them crushed into eternity
down here at The Dump
On the edge of town,
I watched the darkness go,
down here at the dump
so put the roof down, up the stereo,
we’ve been to the dump
and sing

Week 28: THE KICK
Here she comes again :
The child with the stars in her eyes
I see the hope, the fire and the fun and that element of surprise
The wide vision, open arms shaped like a heart ,
I see the shoulders jumping up and down
She calls my name, leaps to her feet, when she hears the sound

	If only you knew, If only you knew
	The Kick I get out of seeing you
Losing yourself,  head back in the sun

She comes up to the van, Likes she’s never been here before
She waits, She stands, She stares
adrift on the ocean, abundantly lost in thought
She waits, observes
She knows her place, and her time will eventually will come
She smiles, I smile, and we nod
She says:  “Hey mister!
Give me a tongue twister, No, wait, how about a rocket to the moon?
I need to make my taste buds tingle
Like I’m singing in tongues, that’s the one, that’s the one”

	The kick I get out of seeing you
Losing yourself, head back in the sun


See her running, I see her dancing, skipping into the future into the years ahead
She embraces, smiling faces, 
She picks up broken butterflies and makes them fly high again
She brings healing somewhere deep
And she tells me that she loves me when I am distressed in my sleep

She turns and walks away
Leaving a shimmery trail, a train remains of glitter, mercy, magic, and gold and the grace
My back turned, I drive away
I’m ready to play, the same game the very same way again
