Last year, long time Circus events and Circus Recordings fan Bontan reached out to Yousef to offer his remix services, the result was the explosive Bontan remix of Louis Proud’s ‘So Many Promises’, now one of Circus Recordings most successful releases.

A new friendship was born and whispers of a collaboration where heard…

Not long after, while working on his 3rd album, Yousef’s ‘in the process of eight’, the label owner felt he needed a twist on a vocal track he was working on.
A short chat later and Yousef was on his way to visit Bontan in his home studio with the sultry vocals of the The Angel ready to be recreated.   
The result is a meticulous, yet stripped back, mature sounding fiery vocal track. Nasty drums, relentless bass ride a poignant vocal that shimmers through the backdrop of authentic house. 

The full release comes with 3 elegant and timely remixes from Timo Maas, Denney and ANNA.

Beginning to work together in early 2015 following Konflicted Soul’s remix of “And Again”, the duo quickly started to receive support from the likes of Apollo 84, Jacky, Rich Wakley, Raffa FL amongst others. 

Their ability to work so well together stems from an understanding of each others own style and this can be heard in the tracks that they have coming up throughout 2016.

Drumcode heavyweights Pig&Dan and Victor Ruiz link for their maiden collaborative EP.

The project begun in the first quarter of the year when the artists were still touring and was later completed during a series of productive sessions after lockdown – Pig&Dan members Dan Duncan and Igor Tchkotoua experiencing a creative synergy with close friend Victor Ruiz that injected some lightness into an otherwise challenging time for the trio of producers.

‘Consciousness’ is driven by a catch low-end riff that’s powerful and funky in equal measures and is a particular favourite of Adam Beyer’s, highlighting the boss’ Drumcode Indoors II and Tomorrowland’s United Through Music stream.

Will Clarke debuts on Trick this November with ‘Let’s Rave EP’, featuring Daddy Dino and remixes from new talents Ammara and Meg Ward. Will Clarke’s catalogue has marked him out as one of house music’s hottest names in recent times, with releases for Kneaded Pains, We Are The Brave, Drumcode, and of course his own All We Have Is Now all causing huge damage on dance floors and sales charts. Here, on Patrick Topping’s increasingly essential Trick imprint, Will Clarke dives in with the aptly titled synths-and-stabs driven ‘Let’s Rave’ before teeing up the first of two collabs with Trick mainstay, Staten Island’s Daddy Dino. ‘Negativity (feat. Daddy Dino)’, one of the hardest tracks to grace Trick to date, is a thundering techno number punctuated with anxiety-inducing builds and Dino’s pitched down vocals, while ‘Die With Me On This Dancefloor (feat. Daddy Dino)’ takes a trippier, groove-based vibe and features one of the years most infectious hooks from Dino. ‘Let’s Rave EP’ is rounded off with a set of quality remixes from two relative newcomers, Ammara and Meg Ward.
