Our first single. As time goes on, you should learn to expect the unexpected.

Andy and Ian have been crafting songs for over fifteen years, but this is the first under the North-NorthWest banner. It represents (despite its geographical connotation) a barrier-less approach to their output.

We could tell you what we thought when we recorded this. We COULD tell you who our musical influences were for this, but it'd be better for everybody concerned if you gave it a listen and made your own mind up.

Meet Matilda... she's the Queen of Hoxton, and the first taste of North-NorthWest's upcoming EP, "The Albion Sessions".
With parts recorded variously in Northampton, Falmouth and Salford, it's proof that culture and art know no physical boundaries, and that musical collaboration can lead to something greater than the sum of it's parts!

The vocals and acoustic guitar were recorded in one take on Thursday 3rd December 2015, at Andy's studio in Salford.
