We wrote this track months prior to the fatal warehouse fire in Oakland, which housed the Ghost Ship Artists Collective.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who perished in this horrible disaster and we send our heartfelt love & condolences to all surviving family members and friends who lost love ones in this warehouse.  

PS - Derick Ion Almena (one of the Artists Collective operators) is a complete narcissist.

In 1986 Second Story was the follow up album to Douglas Trowbridge,“Songs Unspoken” solo piano recording. Douglas Trowbridge are actually the middle names of Richard Souther and the pseudonym was used to delineate Richard’s electronic album Innermission (released at the same time).

Recorded March 23 through 25,1987 at Mad Hatter Recording Studios, Los Angeles, CA on a 1940 Hamburg Steinway 9 ft. Concert Grand.
