Jay3m and NorthernDraw return with their 3rd collaborative EP– Quid Pro Quo– showcasing a torpedo of portamento synths and half time drum patterns. Cooked up over a hot summer weekend of playing Mario and drinking cool modelos in an undisclosed studio somewhere in the bay area. The seven instrumental tracks showcase a rapport between a multitude of genre-influences and west coast head-nod camaraderie, pairing together perfectly like reposado tequila and shrimp avocado tacos. Once again the duo comes together to show us that they are in it for the long run, always ascending with no crescendo zenith in sight.

The basement buzzes through a chain of SP-404 samplers tethered together with the resonance of vinyl-sim effects, Op-1 synth stabs and drum swings. Play//Rec is a further refinement of a jam session between Diogenes, NorthernDraw, Mieksneak, Joe Mousepad, Slurgeon & Yunsumz. Recorded live onto cassette, this magnetic tape captures individuals from different homes but with a familiar vibe.

Joe Mousepad x NorthernDraw revisited this cassette, using it as a template, chaining together a string of instrumental tracks, The Bay, Portland, and Seattle.
