And at a time where I can genuinely feel my brain starting to melt and the memories start to fade in the midst of everything, it'll be a way to go from faking some semblance of happiness all the time to at least trying to give myself the hugs and self-love I need to keep going, if only because I can't ask for forgiveness from the people I've hurt." -me, 4/21/2025.

"fleeting memories; feigning happiness" is a personal journey for me that follows, among other things, the course of a romantic relationship, the stages of grief that came with it, and my understanding of my eventual diagnosis of bipolar II disorder. I suppose I'll leave it at that.
