Luis gets upset at Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow's response to film critic Ann Hornaday's story in the Washington Post. In her piece she suggests that male escapist wish-fulfillment fantasy films- like those produced by Rogen and Apatow- where a shluby guy get's the girl may frustrate real-life shluby guys.

This is a random podcast idea I had called, "All Late About It" where news items get digested shortly after they're fully devoured by the zeitgeist. Only after everybody knows about it we'll take the time to look... all late about it.

Liza called in to the Vocalo hotline and left this profound message about how she is dealing with the aftermath of surviving a sexual assault. Producer Luis Perez heard the message called Liza and asked if he cold edit and publish her story. Music is from Chicago music producer Violence Ammunition which Luis was listening to just a moment before he heard the voicemail.

Luis Antonio Perez is a former radio producer and host from Chicago.  From 2007-2015 he worked for Vocalo 90.7FM and 89.5 FM, a project of Chicago Public Media (formerly known as Chicago Public Radio WBEZ). His awards shelf includes awards for public affairs programming and for coverage of the 2008 presidential election. In addition, Luis has been a featured host for NPR's Latino USA. 
Luis is also active in Chicago's burgeoning Live Lit and storytelling scene sharing stories on stage. He was a Moth Story Grand Slam Finalist as well as a finalist in the Windy City Story Slam, and produced audio for the storytelling podcast Risk!
