We talk a bit about why she started the blog, her crohn's disease, embarrassing dating stories, her struggles growing up, and what to expect from her book in 2013.

From 2007-2015 he worked for Vocalo 90.7FM and 89.5 FM, a project of Chicago Public Media (formerly known as Chicago Public Radio WBEZ). His awards shelf includes awards for public affairs programming and for coverage of the 2008 presidential election. In addition, Luis has been a featured host for NPR's Latino USA. 
Luis is also active in Chicago's burgeoning Live Lit and storytelling scene sharing stories on stage. He was a Moth Story Grand Slam Finalist as well as a finalist in the Windy City Story Slam, and produced audio for the storytelling podcast Risk!
