Italian artist Gerardo is no stranger to these pages and it wasn’t too long ago that his intricate work cropped up on Howl Records. That’s not the only label that he has graced as Gerardo has also been a pivotal member of the output at Spanish labels Morchelle Music, its sublabel Vidre and Italian imprint Vara Records.

Gerardo’s knack for complex rhythms, abstract sound palettes, and obscure FX that pushes his sounds in an experimental yet dancefloor-focused direction. 'This mix has been over a year in the making and the perfect representation of the sounds I’ve come to love, sparked largely by Oblique, their residents and the artists they were bringing to Sydney. As my collection grew, with every new record I kept changing my mind on what direction to go, but finally recorded just under 2 hours of 100% wax I felt was worthy for the task and an accurate portrayal of the music I love most.'
