I started this around Thanksgiving 2022, but I did most of the actual work on it within about three days, all in May or June. I tried quite hard not to involve myself as much. I wanted to let the songs breathe. I'm not sure how much they're breathing, but I do think I gave any given song a lot more space on average than I did in the past two mixes. As always, I only make things I like listening to and I like listening to this.
I think this is the first mix I made without any of my own work in it only because I plan to make the next mix with only my own work in it. Or maybe try out another genre umbrella.

Born and raised in San Diego, CA and now based in Orange County, V! AKA  @itsvidiep officially began her DJ career as a part of @academyofdjs Season 13 graduating class. Vi’s passion for music, however, goes back over a decade. She discovered @soulection after moving to NYC in 2016 and cites them as a major influence. In addition, she describes her style as an eclectic mix of hip hop/r&b, house, trap, and an array of global club beats. Vi currently DJs events throughout SoCal but she plans to include music production and the creation of her own curated events as she continues on her music journey.
