I cut off the bow with a razor blade.
You cannot put it on me.
I am not your present to play with.
I am not your child.
You are not my parent.
I refuse to play a house of dolls.
Who are you?
All I know is that you hollowed out what I brought.
You hollowed it out and you marveled at my shell.
You want me to be empty.
You want to play with me,
Not just in the bedroom ,
Not as a spark of fire.
You want to burn me down constantly
So you can stomp on top of me
Every single second.
I really mistook your game for a passionate kind of love.
Instead, it was a bubblegum popped,
As if it never was there.
I struggle to remember, what was it made out of?
The poems, the languages, the references
You are adorned with the emblems of art complexity,
And your expressions, 
they fall by the roadside like a plastic cap.
Banal.
Empty shells again.
What does this mean?
What is in the writing?
You answer, “nothing”.

Where is the substance?
