Originally I just wanted to listen to new vinyls I bought and luckily hit the record button before doing so. Meshing 90s trance with fresh techno was a lot of fun lately!
I had the idea to do a podcast with some friends and here's the short introduction to it. Will probably keep it limited to a couple of other djs, but you never know.

In dieser Ausgabe geht es um FairTix Leipzig bzw. den Clubeuro. Dies ist ein Pilotprojekt des lokalen Ticketanbieters TixForGigs, bei dem ihr Leipziger Clubs beim Vorverkauf unterstützt. Wie das geht? Teilnehmende Clubs können bei einzelnen Events einen Clubeuro erheben, zugleich sinkt aber die Servicegebühr von TixForGigs. Der Euro geht dann an das LiveKommbinat Leipzig, um damit Projekte zu finanzieren, die der Vernetzung und Weiterentwicklung der lokalen Clubkultur zugute kommen. Neben FairTix Leipzig geht es in dieser Hey Hey-Ausgabe aber auch darum, wie die Leipziger Clubs – speziell das Conne Island – mit den Herausforderungen von Corona, steigenden Produktionskosten, schleppenden Vorverkäufen und weniger Experimenten beim Booking. @Kosmovision presents a mix moving from 135 bpm upwards. It kicks off with three tracks and one remix of artists performing at Visionskultur's Kiek Beyond Festival: Key Clef, Augusto Taito, Anna Kost and Ireen Amnes. The intro is followed by trance melodies layered over a a gentle interplay of straight and broken beats with groovy baselines.

VisionsCast 002 with Kosmovision

Handle with care! In this mix, @genelle_dj serves what she does best: industrial techno with trancey melodies and occasional groovy interludes. Her sets, while demanding to dancers, provide exactly the release of bodily tensions building up in everyday life.

genelelle found her way behind the decks in 2017. Starting with melodic techno, she quickly discovered her dedication to the faster and darker sound and for now, has found her place to be in Hard Techno. Her sets are influenced by EBM, Techno, Industrial, Rave, and Trance – creating an impulsive and energetic atmosphere. Together with friends she founded @polyphonradio, which has established its reputation with various underground parties - first in Passau and Munich, and since 2022 also in genelelle's new hometown Leipzig.

As co-founder of the feminist initiative fem*vak, genelelle is fighting against sexism in the electronic music scene, while claiming more space for FLINTA* artists. Come dressed to sweat for genelelle at Kiek Beyond 2023!

Auf diese Nummer hatten wir schon länger bock.
@heimlichmaneuver ist Teil der @rosa_brisante crew und mit ihrem Sound hat sie es sogar bis nach Istanbul zu diversen gigs und radio shows geschafft. Zwischen proggy house, moody trance und saftigen Breaks spielt sie sich ohne Punkt und komma gekonnt durch die genres.
Und am Ende ist der Bock auf Sommer da. Hat noch jemand beauty Sekt?
