Diario Sogno is the first LP from Francesco Giovanetti, aka Jaf Ge Nos.
The album has been written between Seoul and Berlin, during and after pandemic time.
Like the name suggests, "Diario Sogno" (dream diary), dreams started to write a diary by themselves in these contrasting cities.
Like a translator, I translated it into music.
The artwork is from the artist Bettina Hajanti: she represented a memory of the dream diary.

We introduce to you Italian born, Berlin based artist Jaf Ge Nos, a fresh new name to join the ever-expanding NHS roster. Having originated musically as a member of his band Valerian Swing, Francesco takes a daring step into the electronic music community with ‘Pianta Tenera’. Jaf Ge Nos comments on his own release:

‘I wrote these tracks as a complete foreigner to the electronic music world. DAW's, VST's, drum programming: I was completely new to all of this, but I wanted for so long to explore this field after many years having played in bands. So, after 2 years of attempts made between Correggio (Italy) and Berlin, here's my first EP of multi coloured, no-genre, electronic music.

I think it sounds simply like everything I loved in these years: soundtrack-ish old school synthesizer riffs, ready-to-perreo riddims, angelic choirs, jazz drums fills and apocalyptic drones.

‘Pianta Tenera’ is about losing people, closing projects, closing relationships, mourning after all of this and then being born again, more conscious and strong than ever.

The pic was taken in Umegaoka district in Tokyo during a tour with one of my bands. This little plant needed a lot of strength to grow up inside of a wall: this reminded me of the struggles I faced while writing the EP and reinventing myself in the field of electronic music after being a live musician for 10 years. I saw this delicate and humble plant also as a tombstone for both a dear friend of mine, and a family member, both who are not here anymore: Filippo and Genosse. Being Tokyo, Berlin, Italy or the furthest place from home: it doesn't matter in which part of the world we are now, we all still can feel the love you gave us.’

Fukstep is a movement linked to the sound system culture crossovers and all the hybridizations that new school has created. With an irreverent and inclusive approach to music and parties, it proposes projects that explore crossover and generative underground. 
Fukstep is a community, a label, a party, a curatorship and a message. It is the desire to create a new ecosystem within itinerant parties, proposing a model of a safer, more inclusive and accessible environment for everyone, which sees the sound mainly curated by queer artists and engineers, to convey a real model of participation.
