His love affair with music began, perhaps, precociously. However, his artistic talent was, as NX admits, deliberately put on ice for quite a while. He was raised in a family devoid of performing musicians, but educated and ever fascinated by music. Remnants of blind men’s blues; the chimes of Mike Oldfield; the lament of Spanish guitars; the drastic drone of Pink Floyd; these were all sounds which Nostrum X grew up amidst. 
	Nostrum X, oscillating between London and Andalucía for several years, also confesses to being a wanderer that was never really lost. He travelled extensively in his early 20’s and as such, you’ll find how this artist idiosyncratically conveys peculiar and mesmerising world sounds gathered during his travels in his productions. Although his passion towards electronic music sprouted when he was merely a young teenager, he dug deeper into the burgeoning techno, tech house, deep house and minimal scenes during his time in London – where he lived for just over 4 years during his late teens and early twenties - and later in and around the bohemian Cadiz, Spain; renowned for its characteristic underground scene. 
	After qualifying as a solicitor and later establishing a chain of businesses, he delved into deejaying and electronic music production; his chilled passions. In a very short time, Nostrum X saw his first releases sell online and was sharing the booth with artists such as Dusky, Dale Howard, Finnebassen and Pirupa. 
        Nostrum X’s delivery, in both his productions and performances, can be as delicate as it can be gritty. Fusing minimalistic grooves with the rugged stomps of tech house and brighter and fatter snippets of deep house and house, Nostrum X creates something unique and enticing. It’s a frequency of his very own.
