I like how this one really captures both of your styles in one song. I agree it has a very cinematic feel to it. Something they'd play right before John Wick is about to eff up some bad guys in the 3rd act.

I began writing this piece for minimalist organ with the intention of having multiple overlapping sections, but then I got bored and added some funk.  When I got to editing in Audacity, I added a "Paul Stretch" to a section which is the thing that makes it sometimes sound like it's "underwater", but this time it sounded like an airplane, so I got obsessed with that noise and put it all over the track in different forms and made that the general theme.

Symphony in E Flat Minor - Conflictus 
I have attempted to create a potent emotional and technical foundation in this composition by using E-flat minor, to portray two critical intervals to define conflicting characters,  the minor second and the minor seventh.

To create an emotional profound darkness I have used cello melody in (E-flat minor) to immediately establishes a somber, monumental, and deeply introspective mood, setting the stage for a serious dramatic work that follows.

Acute Tension (Minor Second) has been deliberately used to injects the music with sharp dissonance and anguish. This abrasive, element drives conflict, often suggesting the intensity of the E-flat Phrygian mode.

Somber Depth (Minor Seventh) strings provide the essential melancholic color and stability of the minor key to allow for broad, cohesive irritating melodies to define chaos and conflict.

The use of alchemy pads & strings in between the abrasive, close tension of the minor second and the deep has successfully created a reflective sorrowful mood of the minor seventh.

Durge Wrote a song Many Many years ago, called "What I'm Wanting for", but it was very experimental and quite pleasant though the lyrics werent fully composed.  I listened to it, and loved it so much, I decided to dust it off, write lyrics to the song and give it a new style and flavour.  So on his Birthday, I pay homage to my incredible partner in Musical Crime, and dedicate this recreated musical Art, to him!

Many Ways

Started out with organ with some oscillating dissonance chords to build tension.  Then I switch into a minimalist bell/piano arpeggiation for a while, which slowly builds into trance, and then into some more heavy dub trance.  There's a melody lead with a phase pad throughout the entire song, and I also added some heavier bells that do some fifth step ups and octave steps as a regular theme.  I fade out with what sounds like a dulcimer.  This is all TEOP1 Field keyboard though as usual, no analog instruments.  Some reverb added in audacity, -14dB normalization, -1dB soft limit. Enjoy your fall everyone! Crunch some leaves!
