This is my original Lightningbug Night song from like 2006.  I was reminiscing of being a kid catching lightningbugs outside and putting them in jars (and letting them go later).  Multi-layer improvisation on old Yamaha keyboard and EWI4000s and guitar.

This is my little sister singing.  It was recorded on a phone.  I wrote this song years before we recorded it.  This recording was performed on my mother's grand piano.  There is a new remastered version available.

Wish I Were A Butterfly

Improvised Korg Radias keyboard, then I went back and improvised chromatic harmonica over top of it with an echo pedal.

By A Thread

This song is about my cat, who does not have object permanence.  It's a multi-layer improvisation with some planned lyrics added.

The Witter Knows

This is an improvised psychedelic drone song with a bit of funk on a Korg Radias keyboard.

Mystic Mustard

This is a song I planned out some, not improvised.  The only instrument used is my Korg Radias keyboard, and I modulated my own voice with the Korg Vocoder that is built into the keyboard.

Watch It Rain

This is my improvised multi-layer performance using Korg Radias keyboard alone.  All effects, including the cricket sounds, were from the keyboard.

Island Embers

In the heatwave of 2024, when my air conditioner died, while the repair man named Jack was installing a new one, I recorded this multipart improvised song, using a real drum set and a chromatic harmonica and Korg Radias keyboard.

I ate a cicada that fell into our Brunswick stew at Bear Creek Lake in Virginia, then I puked all night in a tent.

I was trying to make a relaxed dissonant melancholy song, in the style of Erik Satie (think Minecraft).  This was improvised on my Korg Radias and recorded to my BOSS RC 50 Loop Pedal.

Regular Day

In addition to harpsichord, I also like accordion.  I currently only own a really dumpster-version accordion, so this is algorithmic rendered accordion.  Imagine a cat in Venice, Italy, accidentally falling into the water after eating too much fish.

This is an inside joke with my girl.  Something to do with MST3K.  That's all you'll ever know.

Don't Look At The Sun

Dedicated to my sister.  She always went to the "Rock Dock" with her friends, which was at a local lake, and they would jump off a dock into the lake, and I tried to use reverse psychology to convince her to never dive head first into the lake.

This is the remastered version of my very very old Lightningbug Night song. It is now more reggae sounding.  Imagine you are on a beach catching lightningbugs in a jar, with the intent to let them go afterwards.
