I had lost the project for Under the Waves a while back, computer decided to eat all my one drive and I lost quite a few interesting pieces. This is sorta, I guess, update as it were, alot of the same files from the orignal curation which I thankfully store online in loopcloud. so essentially its kinda like the reborn/dorwned zombie doppleganger 1000 peso man upgrade. Its liquid and alot more vibey I think, alot better levels throughtout. Enjoy!

Nearly all sounds were recorded over many different sources at various times in the past 3 years...this is only an edition.. the croak of the 3 types of amphibian that rule and hold court over in my backyard have guideded me as it were down a deep and ever winding rabbithole that I believe now as the deeper I climb the more i have to dive into, being French I have a certain affinty for the semi-aquatic globs. So this is the the post amphibian, rain nor sun nor sleet nor flood gun stop the idea factories daily deliveries. You just have to let it longer

A perfect example of why hitting record without intent of a stellar recording but to simply capture a feeling. There is a chinese proverb that talks about the fox and its need to cross the great river to survive. But it must not be distracted by the beautiful lotus' that will enevitably surround him lest he/she not have aneough time to prepare for winter. If he only gets the tip of his tail wet. Great sucess if thwre is firm correctness. It is fruotful to cross the great river.

Nothing Really Matters

Always loved the original and played it in regular rotations in my DJ sets, always felt it was a primo track to be remixed and lo and behold 10 years later and a week before my bday as a deadline I stumbled across the remix comp. Happy how it turned out as I really wanted to write it entirely without anything but the original as a reference track and feel like I nailed nit, artistically at least.

Yo send this to whoever you thinks would like it. This set meant alot to me and was actually hard to record because of how much these tracks (amongst countless others) helped me work through and past a depression that, through my poor actions and rash decisions, ultimately cost me  my freedom, my marriage, my career and my drive to even continue.  I was left bankrupt, alone and frankly too numb to even be scared. Those that knew me seemingly abandoned me, but I not only needed it but deserved nothing greater.  I know now I am blessed to even still draw breath with the experiences I have endured, I can say with an honest heart that life is far to precious to waste even a second on a a negative thought.
To know yourself and believe in the person you are, and to strive to be better AND know it is possible,  than you can surely conquer anything that stands in your way. But here I am again for the third time no to be destroyed. But to create as I am created. One love and there is so much more on the way.
