Lucidez Terminal, como aquel momento en que los cuerpos pueden sentir inyecciones de energía vital antes de la muerte, apunta a ser el soundtrack de aquel episodio donde ya no nos queda nada más que bailar y gritar encima de las cenizas

20 tracks inspirados en el concepto de desastre natural. Un manifiesto de todo lo que significa Martirio: canciones para el club, para llorar, caóticas y ruidosas, que reinterpretan himnos pop con voces distorsionadas y que hablan sobre nuestro origen queer latino.

From the debris of our unknown territories, Martirio invites its virtual friends to imagine strategies to inhabit the collapse: each track in this compilation composes an electric and fiery soundscape in which the anguish and nostalgia experienced during the confinement are singularly revealed. Lucidez Terminal, as the moment where bodies can feel several injections of vital energy before death, aims to be the soundtrack of that episode in which there is nothing left but dancing and screaming over the ashes.

These 20 tracks are inspired by the concept of natural disaster. A manifesto for everything Martirio means: club music, distorted pop anthems, loud voices and hard sounds that represent our chaotic Latin queer reality.

Nacidx en Pakistán, gravitando y redefiniendo la cultura alternativa en Texas @i-srafil es una entidad que se ha desarrollado y expandido sónicamente de una manera sólida desde sus inicios en 2017. Cautivadx cultural, musical y socialmente funda @softcollective en 2018 de la mano de sus colegas de la noche; con el objetivo de unificar y establecer espacios seguros en Orlando para la sociedad LGBTQ, de color, latinx, etc. Su afición por la música y su capacidad para percibirla como un arma y una herramienta de expresión para la pista de baile lx llevo a formar parte de las fiestas más excéntricas y extravagantes dentro del sur de los Estados Unidos; sin dejar de lustrar su tacto en el arte de amalgamar y recolectar tracks.
Sus influencias incluyen diversos géneros y elementos que van desde la música oriental y tradicional asiática, los cuencos tibetanos, la música de Bollywood, grabaciones exteriores, ambient, club deconstruido, dembow, tribal, la música latina, pop, hasta los sonidos de spa, la vida nocturna y sus amistades. Con todo este cumulo crea una catarsis que se ve revelada en sus presentaciones, mixes y mashups. Bajo distintos alias como, metal femme, mumtaz, I-sfaril ha ido dejando marcas y señales en diferentes plataformas y corporaciones como NTS, Papi Juice, Daisychain, Internet Public Radio. Co-fundadorx de la comunidad BPM (@bitchesplaymusic), colectiva experimental que su enfoque principal es celebrar la vida queer y trans por medio de eclécticos line-ups con artistas americanos y mexicanos.
Actualmente más enfocadx en la psicoacústica y en distintas métricas, nos concede cuarenta y seis atípicos minutos, empapándonos de ritmos globales, trance, angelicales puentes sónicos que nos desplazan hacia distintos géneros como techno recio, jersey club mutante, “Soft Cell” y distintas exploraciones. Una fantasiosa oda al sonido rave de antaño y a la electrónica contemporánea.
