With these new pieces we used an effect that comes with Garageband.  It's called a Vocal transformer which, as it's name suggests, is supposed to be used with vocals, but I discovered that if you play chords on a guitar or keyboard, it serves as a frequency modulator: an interesting side effect.  This causes new, seemingly random tones to be generated when two different notes are played together.  The instruments used include guitar, and keyboard (played by Ryan) with different effects.

The wind chime sample is taken from "Ledge Rock Rising" the magical house my friend, Lukas grew up in.  The guitar part is obviously inspired by Niel Young's Dead Man soundtrack.  I recorded it in one take and was shaking afterwards because I felt like I had just cried.
