Finally, after years of not uploading any of my music to Soundcloud I'm somewhat forcing myself to make a return. As I've been stuck for far too long, in a self created web of perfection driven tasks. Tasks that would've taken me forever to complete, if ever. Causing me to loose track of my goal, sharing it: being able to express myself.

Starting with a track that has been a passion-project of mine for years now, and is quite personal to me. It's centered around the confession of former medical director and reviewer Dr Linda Peeno. Shedding light on how health insurance companies reject to help needy patients in order to make a healthy profit. Which corresponds to my experience in healthcare, which for the longest time has passed me from pillar to post.

Some weird crossover between Early Hardcore and Drum 'n Bass. The kick, that never really stops, kind of reminds me of Simon Underground's Point Blank. The 4:20 duration is intentional, because you know, cool like a fool in a swimming pool.

Endearing Thug

Not a lot of pure Gabber floating around, so here's probably the worst piece of shit music I'll ever release, that is somewhat serious (don't quote me on that). And believe it or not, it's quite difficult to strike a balance between hard, creative, cheap, catchy and too good for Gabber (hence the Noisecore like part, which is too artsy for Gabber).

After the worst track, probably one of my stronger tracks. Of which the percussion reminds me most of the early 00's The Enticer or Sunjammer releases on Hardcore Crossbreed Recordings, and the filtered synth of some Chosen Few tracks.

Hypnotizing Eastern Nightskies

An ever so slightly darker and slower Breakcore / Noise combination. Sampling the very cinematic 1975 adult movie: 'The Image'. The melody uses two notes only: black and white (checker board), either C or C sharp, or both. It reminds me of some of Shizuo's tracks (rest in peace legend), some releases on the Irritant label and some Suicidal Rap Orgy tracks.

Also as a side-note: down-tempo artists have it soo easy, easily able to fill a track untill an acceptable duration is reached.

Mindless Religious Robots

An early 00's Breakcore track of the autistic kind, which I have a serious soft spot for. It samples "pass, pof, pof die top op de beatbox, jonko pof voor de coffeeshop", "kan het wat zachter?" and "nee, zo doe je dit" from Steen - De Spot. The noise at 1:19 kind of reminds me of the noise Bassie (from Dutch children's series Bassie en Adriaan) makes when shocked, as if he's responding to the "nee" to the "kan het wat zachter?" request. My mind makes some weird connections sometimes haha (sometimes...)

Another Smartcore (Hardcore / IDM crossover) track. This time focusing on the increasing soft-surveillance that is steadily rolled out. As a mailman, every time I see yet another new Ring "doorbell" install stare me in the face, I die a little inside. Or Tesla cars, or any other "self-driving" car for that matter, I know have cameras all over. I make quite an effort preserving my privacy (digitally at least), but this is out of my reach, which is frustrating to me.

Therefore I wrote a little poem about it (was fun doing some poetry after a long time again):

Tribe Suicide

A more successful Bouncy Techno (of the sentimental type) attempt this time. I guess starting with the right sounds helps: one of which is the (in my unpopular opinion) atrocious stab it starts with: which I, as it turns out, only like as a harmonized (in the few it works in) rhythmic element: as it (to me) sounds false (which is the appeal for some I guess) in any other configuration: as is more often the case with how some stabs are layered. But I do like forcing myself to take on a challenge from time to time, as it sometimes results into something interesting.

The vocals are sampled from the 2002 movie Solaris (hence the title).

Solaris

A German style Early Hardcore / Gabber crossover: those that weren't too underground for fun: mainly Morgon (Hartplastik Records), Borschtsch, a bit Hardcore Parasite and some Gabba Nation-like kicks. The filter spiked (reminded me of stalagmites, hence the title) breakbeat reminds me of some Geoff Da Chef stuff and the Hard Trance side reminds me a bit of Hardsequencer.

An, what I like to call, Early Darkcore track: as I have no idea what to call this style otherwise, as it is no Doomcore, although close to it. It reminds me a bit of the Satanic Grooves label, some of Vdd-Energise, a bit of Dr. Macabre, Nyet - Power Of Yoga (the stab), Public Domain - The Puritan (The Voice Mix) (the kick) and Psychose - Armagueddon (the high pitch eerie synth).

It samples Monty Python's Hell's Grannies:

Spontaneous Otoacoustic Emissions

A noisy Early Terror track with some vocoded breakbeats and symphonic elements. To me it starts off as a K-rtone-Kore or Vojeet like track, with the noisy square wave reminding me of NKJE, after that it becomes somewhat The Destroyer like, after which it reminds me of 
'Animal Intelligence - Samurai (Rmx)' in terms of feel and with the symphonic elements I'm reminded of some Skullblower, Noize Creator, Gabba Front Berlin and Igoa tracks.

Rainy Days

What starts off as an Italian style early hardcore track, which mostly reminds me of Mito (Italian Steel), becomes a weird remix of 'The Pineapple Song' by 'Good Size', which reminds me of 'Technohead - I Want To Be A Hippy' and some DJ Ron (PTP) tracks. I randomly ended up with this song as I searched for 'pine apple song' on YouTube, to compliment the mocking track title for the song: which weirdly worked way too well with the rest of the track. Sometimes the weirdest stars seem to align right out the bat.

Mi Amo Pizza Hawaiana!!!

Now Archive.org (I use for copyright backups) is reliably up again, it's time for a New Year themed Gabber / Ambient fusion: built from firework samples (except for kick and open and closed hi-hats). 

The steel guitar inspired melody and the squeeling noise are screaming banshees (or what the Dutch call "gillende keukenmeiden", or "screaming kitchen maids"): really pushing the out-of-tuneness (on any mobile device it sounds like I've completely lost it haha). Further percussion is composed of rockets exploding in the air and the ambient noise in the background is a ground spinner ("grondbloem"), but very time-stretched. 

The title is the chemical formula for calciumcarbide ("carbid"): which is traditionally used in The Netherlands to shoot the lid off of old milk cans, large modified slurry tanks or near militairy grade makeshift canons; which make for a pretty solid bang. No wonder Hardcore and Gabber are so popular here.

The vocals are from Zeitgeist: Addendum, which is an interesting documentary drawing parallels between many religions (Christianity foremost) and ancient astrology. Which I have to thank my sister's partner for; which together were over for Christmas. Have a banging New Year! :)

First, I want to make it very clear that this is not an adoration piece is any way, shape or form. That said, here's probably one of the darkest and most twisted pieces of music I'll release. An ambitious Hardcore Breakbeat / Breakcore track featuring bonechilling interviews of serial killer Tommy Lynn Sells: better known as The Coast to Coast Killer, together with poor Krystal Surles' testimony; which miracolously managed to survive a stab in the neck and identify Tommy. So all vocals are real, and so is the story sadly and the victims killed by Tommy: may they rest in peace.

An Early Based Hardcore / Illbient (Dark Ambient) track: which mostly reminds me of 2000's Praxis releases (or more broadly speaking Hardcore productions from the same era by mainly Breakcore artists), together with some Angelflo and Noize Creator productions. It samples Charlie Chaplin's "A King In New York" speech. Which corresponds with my views of the media circus: which seemingly is merely designed to push people's buttons, in order to distract and devide them, whenever they start showing signs of collectivism. Which is why I've decided to banish it from my life, and feel a lot better as a result.
