A new magical place deep in the woods of frankonia. 2 years ago where all the magic began and end Nick and Andi (+ all the other lovely people) created again something special. Nature, music and a lot of smiling faces. Wow. 
I played from 20:00 until 22:00 pm. This recording is my fully improvised Dj-Set. On the other side I played a lot of my current and alltime favourites ranging from disko, techno and progressive.

Witchtape #50 | Guest Wizz : ΑRGÁVATHIÁ

(Story continued from Witchtape #49)
The sage – accompanied by his trusted guide owl - entered the forest with great caution, not knowing what to expect and completely oblivious of the fact that he was the very first human whom the spotter birds had allowed to enter into the witch’s forest.  Ever.  So this was the final destination of the sage’s pilgrimage, which started 2 years earlier in South-East Asia and along the road he connected with many different kinds of mysticism and spirituality in all corners of Asia, including an epic passage through the green valleys of Kazakhstan.  Yet his trusted owl kept on leading the sage westwards all the way to this forest in North-Western Europe.  From the outside, it looked like any other forest but within seconds after entering the woods, he sensed an unusually serene energy.  The forest animals were not shy at all, and they were very curious for these two unexpected visitors, with squirrels sniffing at the sage’s feet and when he stretched out his arm, a couple of perky little birds landed on his hand within seconds (not feeling the least bit intimidated by presence of the owl).  The pilgrim now took his time to savor the surroundings, with flowers of the most magnificent colors blooming everywhere and a variety of pleasant scents coming his way.  After a while he noticed that many animals were moving slowly into one particular direction, so he got curious and decided to follow this unusual procession.   The lush green woods gradually became denser and darker, before getting lighter and brighter again as he neared a glade deep in the forest.  The procession of animals ground to a halt while they all looked into the distance.  The sage looked into the same direction and what he saw left him completely petrified.  In a nearby clearing he saw a young girl – maybe still in her teens - with very long brown hair and an immaculately white dress frolic with some animals, including a couple of wolves.  The sage was unsure about what to do (hide or flee), but when he saw all the animals around him watching this spectacle in a relaxed mood, he decided it was OK to keep on observing this mystery girl while staying out of sight in order not to disturb her.

Hello friends! 

Welcome to the 27th edition of Undercurrents, this time with my special guest from Amsterdam, Marc de Koning, with whom I connected a few years ago through music and sharing each other's work :) 

Marc began his musical journey at the young age of 15, with a deep appreciation for deep, energetic, progressive house and melodic techno. He’s had support from dutch pioneer, Dimitri Kneelers, and collaborated with the well-loved and wonderfully talented Luke Santos from Argentina on a track that was charted by Hernan in his top 20 in 2014. With a residency at Recycle Lounge and a release on Paul Hazendonk’s imprint, Manual Music, he also has a new podcast series called Heartbeat for which he did an official launch at ClubNL on July 12th....and I was fortunate to play that amazing night for my first gig in Amsterdam! Thanks to all who came out to support, can't wait to be back! xOx

Again, it is a set that really matters to me, because once again its based on my emotions and how i often feel in life.

Habibi is a musical selector with a wide experience in different musical fields.
Following the late 90s Habibi started his musical career as a broadcaster in a radio program of world music called "Nowhere’s land". The program was broadcast for six years on two radio stations. In the program new talents of world music were disclosed, and other variety of musical records, ranging from contemporary classical music, experimental electronic, underground bands and musicians.
At this moment Habibi is developing his own custom sessions (slow House, Blues, Downtempo, lounge, Ethno & Tribal beats).

Today's In Depth podcast is brought to you by a Munich-based duo for which music has always been a higher level connection that linked them just like invisible strings. At some point it became a logical decision to leave the dancefloor and to reach out for the decks. And so the producer and DJ collective Adelante was born.

The name Adelante originates from the term that is widely used in Spain and South America and paraphrases the order ahead which is the subliminal credo of the boys.

Lines drawn between single genres like deep, tech-, afro-house or techno are effortlessly trespassed within their productions and DJ sets as they often contain moving and percussive elements as well as melodic and deep ones.

Being co-founder and resident at the 'unmuted' events, Adelante regularly performs at festivals and the famous Harry Klein Club in Munich. In 2018, Adelante celebrated the official release of their first track 'Benguela' published on the Ibiza based label Haustronaut followed by 'Baru' 2019 as free DL on Sweet Musique. The future will bring even more releases, so be prepared for some hot tunes!
