Q. How would you describe yourself?
A. I'd like to think I'm a music enthusiast who enjoys diving deep into the early "golden" years of dance (and chillout) music.

Q. How long have you been a part of the Melbourne music scene? How did you get involved?
A. I've been playing records around town since about 2006, and started running some parties with a few friends shortly after that, back when electro house and fluro tees were the hottest ticket in town ;) A few years later me and my friend Andy Hart discovered there was this whole other deeper side that we absolutely loved and started the MDC series. Somehow it's still going after all these years!

Q. Tell us a little bit about this mix.
A. After being locked down for most of this year, I wanted to channel the kind of vibes I would go for if given an opening set outdoors somewhere on a sunny afternoon among friends (hoping this won't be too far away now as things start to open up here!). The mix starts out slow and soulful and gradually picks up the pace with lots of 90s chillers and summery house nostalgia to get you in the mood. Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy!

From the depths of the ocean, Cuttle came correct with this lush two part mixtape. Seth laid down the A-side with some alluring, peaceful and resonant dubs to meditate to. Jack took the baton onto the B-side with a collection of dank, heavy hitters with amen break samples.
Seth and Jack are great friends of ours and its our absolute pleasure to have them share some of the tunes they've been digging lately. Alongside having a heavy repertoire of tunes, Seth and Jack are also the co-organisers of Nice2Care Events and they have hosted a few banging parties in the bush. Some words from the homies;

For some time now Seth and I have been collecting records and we made an arrangement so we don’t double up on the same plates we’d purchase different genres. Seth has been stashing away our favourite Dub and I have been accumulating Jungle and Drums. So, to keep with this tradition we recorded an A and B side mix tape, hope whoever listens in enjoys!
