This one is very similar to Rough Draft 3. I mostly redid Peridot to eliminate some of the melodic conflicts, increase rythm, and decrease repetition.

I think, at this point, the track is very close to being done. It's nearly time to do the detailing stages (eliminate most or all repetitions, add some soundscaping (though Peridot is already doing a lot of heavy lifting on that front), and start adding transitional phrases, or maybe for this track just transition effects). I also need to finish up the ending melody

This was an exercise to try to get decent sounding drums without using a chopped breakbeat sample, but I wanted to share the result

If I had to guess, I will use these musical elements in a full track at some point, but this specifically is just a test loop

I decided to continue to work on KN, and this is an attempt to fix the problems in it, at the expense of some of the things I liked about it

Overall I think it is better, though

Kinda an experiment with weird chord progressions, all the chords are constructed from notes that are a multiple of 7 semitones from the root notes, as opposed to the traditional 12 semitones common in most music

It's not really microtonal per-se, but it's a different take on chord construction

For the Qteku boss theme competition

There are a couple of really bad chord/melody transitions that I struggled to find solutions to, I am sorry for those. I will probably fix them later, I think they could actually be pretty cool if workshopped a bit.

I want to just take a moment to thank @SWARMM for stopping by my stream during the creation of this track. For those 2-3 hours, you helped me in a way that I didn't fully realize I needed. It's gonna take me a while to actually get good at applying what you taught me, but you unblocked my learning process on something I've been stuck on for a very long time, and I am deeply thankful for that.

BAD VIBE

This was an experiment to try to create a chord progression that sounds like it is always building up, even when looped

The full loop plays twice in this upload

Every bar, each instrument is detuned by 50 cents using Vital's Shepard, so that after 24 bars  (the length of one loop), the detune has returned to its original value.

Because each bar detunes by 50 cents, this piece is, in some sense, 24EDO instead of 12EDO, although within each bar all instruments remain 12EDO.

To be honest, the end result is not particularly enjoyable, but is at least a strange experience, so have fun
