Week of our Love

I asked Frauke ages ago to write me some Mystrade and I'd already forgotten about it when she handed me those lyrics a few days ago, so ... surprise Mystrade!
(I would write Mystrade myself but I somehow fail miserably every time I try ... I love this ship with all my heart though and I'm secretly the biggest 'At Least There's The Football' fan ever)

The working title of this gem was 'Spn Porn Song'. Frauke is the Captain of the Innuendo Squad ... 

Christ, as much as I have no idea what is going on I love writing stuff for the Supernatural fandom because they're just the nicest folks :)

A quick one about 'Sherlock: Case of Evil' in which Holmes is very very young and very naive and still trying to prove himself. 

The verses in this are meant to be more or less Watson's perspective but are also pretty much Frauke's and my reaction to watching this film. Oh boy, we had fun.

Also the scene in which he first meets Lestrade and introduces himself as 'Holmes with an L' might be one of my favourite scenes in Holmes adaptions.

Someone requested 'happy Janto' ages ago. I don't know who because I accidentally deleted the ask. I hope that person somehow finds this.

Also this is not 100% happy (and the request was 'something like Week Of our Love') but to my mind John and Ianto are the most tragic thing ever so this is the best I can do. 

Also we still need a name for this genre. Torchwood Rock is kind of out since that would leave us with the same abbreviation as Timelord Rock.  Suggestions are very welcome.

A little song that makes me happy. This was so much fun to write. I love bees.

I didn't have a specific Holmes in mind when writing this though it's strongly influenced by both BBC!Sherlock and JLM!Holmes (there will be a proper Elementary song soon I promise!).

Also apparently I can't decide how I want to pronounce Lestrade. In this song I'm switching between the way they pronounce it in Sherlock and the way I'm used to pronouncing it since forever.

I think what I find very intriguing about BBC!Sherlock is that he genuinely scares me. Like really scares me. I don't think I've ever felt that way about any other Holmes who are usually sweet and less psychopathic if you know what I mean . If it wasn't for Andrew Scott's brilliant Moriarty I would be almost disappointed they didn't pull off the whole Holmes is Moriarty deal. 

Basically this is just an excuse to do something with a metallophone.
