If Prince - in his pre anti-gay marriage while yanking his videos from YouTube days - had joined up with NYC dance machine DFA, this single, by Shape Shoppe based Chandeliers, may have been the result. The A-Side is hard driving without any loss of melody, while the B-Side is a minimalistic affair that lurches across its 5 minutes towards a satisfactory climax. Get on it!

'Sometimes You See Yourself (Through The Cosmos)' is the stuff Eno was predicting the future of music would be, way back when, and Cinchel deserves way more acclaim than he's getting. Jason Shanley, under his alter ego, Cinchel, gently tosses us an hour long epic composed of treated instruments, singing wine glasses that change pitches with daily evaporation, and a whole lot of glacial atmosphere.
