This 2 +/- hours set recorded exclusively for you comes full of Pol’s peculiar groove; a very special session that consist almost entirely of his own productions. Mihai didn’t waste no time in the studio last year, it is appreciable to the ear that all of his productions used in this set went through the stringent internal quality control procedure that characterizes his music. After tuning in, the user will comprehend why many describe "a late summer breeze, hard to label and imposible to forget” when talking about Mihai Pol’s sound.

The Brasovian is a fresh and rising talent in the Romanian scene which had a promising programming IT Career before he decided to drop it off and follow his true inner calling as a DJ/Producer. As a DJ, Mihai has been nestled amongst amazing artists in a thrilling list of festivals and club appearances around the world. 

His style (both in his creations and in his sets) has positioned him as one of the most relevant and influential artists in the underground scene today. Mihai's productions can be found on Subtil, Telum, Otaku and Lokomotiv (to mention just a few) and are constantly supported by top selectors in this game.

PIV039 comes from Birmingham-based duo Ruze. Known for their dedication towards dynamically driven basslines, it seems only right that "Mindset" kickstarts this package in infectious ways. "Chapter" takes over with a blistering groove fully loaded with dynamic snare play, while "Tales of Shinjuku" easily feels like a homage to the Japanese game era of the 90s. To top off this 4 track original package "Open Door Policy" leaves the lasting impression of a pure energy driven cannonball for the later hours.

PIV040 takes us down under with the experienced Australian producer Somersault. The A-side "Vision" creates an instant blissful summer feel with smooth keys as its main component. On the remix, British giant Jimpster delivers another authentic touch, which gives the track a completely new feeling. On the B side "Speculate" goes for a deeper composition with a lovely rhythm arrangement and stabs that seduce the senses, before "Switch" finishes off this allround package with a more contemporary groove.
