[Behind The Track]

Welcome to the seventy-forth release of Launch Records. This time we have a new track by Berx and Kira called ‘Turn Back Time’.

The song starts immediately with a vocal in the background together with some atmospheric sounds. After a while, a baseline is added in the background. On top of that more and more atmospheric sounds are added. In this part, the vocal in the background gets the main attention. On top of that, a clock that is ticking is added to fill up the empty spaces. Hereby added a chord progression is added in the background. As soon as the clock disappears, the main attention goes to these chords. In the background, a subtle uplifting drum loop is added which gets more attention as the track continues. This is the build-up of the track, where at the end only the guitar is audible.

When the drop hits, the track is transforming into a powerful House track with some Deep House and Shuffle elements in it. In this drop, you hear at first a clean chord progression that repeated itself several times. At the end of each chord progression, a guitar play starts. In the background, a baseline is added as well as some vocals. This baseline is often slightly off-key which creates a unique style. The baseline has much power in it. In the drop, a drum loop is playing which follows the chords. Hereby added are some atmospheric sounds. All sounds which are used are self-designed.

All these aspects which are used in the track make the track a real Launch release. We are very happy to have a release together with Berx and Kira who managed to blend both styles together in one track. On top of that a special thank to Aiden for the cover.
