Description: Like many kids in late 80s/early 90s Belgium, @aaguilaa was captivated by the swirling innovation of EBM and New Beat. But only after experiencing the full-body feeling of italo disco and hi-NRG played over a proper soundsystem, he developed his lifetime love for neon lights and for the darker, synthesized side of dance music.

For number 100 and 1 we are warmly welcoming Les Yeux Orange. The Parisian duo is well known for presenting fantastic DJ set all over Europe but also for creating a colorful high quality online platform where the regulary present finest bits from all over the electronic music world.

We are happy to host their late summer DJ selection, a wonderful 69min collection of music that sounds like the prefect closing for a sunny festival weekend. May it help us all to keep warm during the times ahead, no matter how dark or cold they might appear.

London based Matt Cowell, works with a selection of parties, magazines and labels that include, Viscera, Ransom Note, Not An Animal and new event series focussing on intimate parties, Optick.

Earlier this year, Latrec’s debut single, Kutika was released on Viscera Transmissions which Matt and Johnny Aux have remixed together under The W.C. alias.

In addition to this, Matt host Too Hot To Sleep with Reefe Murphy on Radio Vilnius, and The Ransom Note Roll Through with Rosie Ama on Kiosk Radio.

As winter is tightening its grip on Berlin, our mind wanders off to sunnier moments - dancing on the Adriatic cost line with some cold drinks in hands. To take you with us on that journey, we invited our good buddies from Longhair to host this month's episode of our podcast series with a very special live recording from Love International Festival 2023 Tisno, Croatia.

Longhair focuses on the perfect mix of various influences, the dark and light, the devilishly pumping and the harmoniously uplifting and commands a vast experience and ability to conjure truly magical makings.  

The workings of Longhair call upon powers of playfulness and the open mind. At it’s core lies the raw, untamable energy of the 90’s; lapped up first hand. These sentiments are then tempered with a myriad of musical knowledge and appreciation, that finds Longhair eloquently piecing together vibrations from disco and balearic, to trance and electro; but it doesn’t stop there. 

Wholly unpredictable with the spells chosen to cast, Longhair manages to strike a neat chord between alluring ecstasy and deeply emotive, somehow, introspective undertones. You may find nimble stabs, hip-thrusting snares and rousing synth grooves, waltzing with whimsical flutes, angelic arps, radiant arpeggios and other, indescript counterparts. Yet one thing is for certain, the undeniable sorcery makes it’s ever-growing discography a sure shot for many momentous dancefloor tonics.
