NTC 21/23 is a collage of noise improvisations made between as a young adult (as well as of recent unreleased performances), excepting “Ignatz Faust.” The title, “Enfant Terrible,” takes a cue from Arthur Rimbaud but is meant as a vignette of a child of privilege who bewilders & embarrasses their parents and those around them by being candid and, alternately, offensive. . This is the third and final version of Enfant Terrible; v.0.8501223 because 0 is better than 1.

The main implements of transgression are FL Studio 8.0.0, Granulab (1998), and Reason 3.00, as well as an mp3 digital recorder and a Tivoli Model One Radio; and for the brief moments of analog hardware: a Doepfer A100, CS-15, TR-909, an XP-80, a PaiA modular kit, and BOSS DR-55. Here a piece arranged by Editor for No Thing Considered 26: Techno Talkathon, featuring the South Central Bell Sound System (noise, synth and drum improv by Brainticular; arrangements and improv by Editor; and compositions by Postmaster, Squamisodo, and Cribri.
